Brandon Sausele is a Long Island surfcasting icon and Stony Brook University alumnus who has become one of the most accomplished anglers on the East End. Brandon competes at the highest levels of surf fishing, earning 9 Montauk SurfMaster wins and a Pan American Games silver medal representing Team USA. His extreme approach to the sport, including wetsuiting the rocky shores of Montauk at night, was featured in a 2024 article in The Atlantic. Brandon's deep roots in the Long Island fishing community and his dedication to pushing the boundaries of the sport make him an inspiration to every angler who has come through the SBU Fishing Club.
